I have done remodeling at other homes we have owned, and I have never found a contractor who is so reliable, trustworthy, and communicative! I interviewed several companies for our complete backyard remodel, and it was apparent from the beginning that Sean was the best. He came up with a creative design for our backyard that provided more privacy; an entertainment space with a bar, tv, fire pit; and an outdoor kitchen. He asks questions to understand what your needs are and how you envision yourself using your yard to come up with a 3-D rendering of your ideal space. Sean has an eye for design and thinks of the big picture and the small details. We had to wait several months for the crew to start, but in my mind that was a good sign that Envirogreen was well sought after. They were worth the wait! Envirogreen has their own crews, instead of a bunch of subcontractors. Their crew, led by Abraham, was punctual, reliable, and hardworking. They showed up 5-6 days a week and worked long days until our project was complete. This kind of work ethic and reliability is so rare these days. Sean communicated with us throughout the entire process and his insights allowed us to make some decisions to improve the original plan as needed (i.e.- installed one bigger propane tank to serve our smoker, grill, fire pit, and indoor stove instead of added another smaller one). Envirogreen does good quality work, and we are very happy with the results! When we are ready to have work done on our front yard, we will be calling Envirogreen again!

From the moment we became involved with Envirogreen we knew they cared about our project and would work with us to get the best backyard possible. The outcome proves that very first impression. We love our backyard, the work was done as quickly as possible, a couple of delays due to weather and permits. The workers were professional, on time, and worked extremely hard. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Envirogreen when adding turf to our yard. From start to finish, the team was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about the quality of their work. They helped us choose the perfect turf for our yard (dogs, kids, etc) explained every step of the installation process, and made sure we were completely satisfied before they wrapped up. They even suggested things such as moving our irrigation box, extending pavers for cleaner edges and a slope in the grass where the RV gate was so the water didn’t pool and had a way to drain from the yard. The end result is absolutely beautiful—lush, vibrant, and so realistic. More than what we could ask for. We love that it’s low-maintenance but still gives our home a fresh, green look year-round. Envirogreen Landscaping is your go to for landscaping work. From the minute we met Sean, we knew we were in good hands. They did an extensive front area remodel —4100 square feet of pavers for a circular drive, re-designed the front hill by removing 20 tons of dirt and old plants, added a river bed, replaced all the granite, installed new lighting and watering system, added new plants, built stone accent walls and the list goes on. Once you give Sean a deposit and you agree on the work, he gives you a firm start and end date. Taking into account weather delays, the schedule is right on target. Our project encountered one entire week of rain but the crew worked through it (6 days a week, 7-5) and finished the project within only a few extra days from the original end date. The crew was timely, professional, pleasant and easy to deal with. If we ever had questions or needed to reach Sean, we received a return call, text or email within minutes. Having lived in Arizona for almost 50 years and dealing with many contractors, we can honestly say that Sean and Envirogreen Landscaping are the only contractors that we do not have one complaint to express. They were awesome! As a side note, Sean and Envirogreen did a major project for our community about 5 years ago. Many of his workers are still with Envirogreen which says volumes! I redesigned my front yard with breeze block walls and a Palm Springs vibe. After meeting with several contractors recommended by friends and neighbors, I reached out to Envirogreen. They were wonderful right from the beginning. Ana designed the yard and she did an amazing job capturing everything I wanted, and thinking of things I hadn’t considered. I was so impressed, I canceled on the other contractors. Once the work started, I worked with Gray. He was so kind and easy to work with, and incredibly knowledgeable. He kept the job moving, kept in constant communication, and made sure everything was good on the final walk through. I’m so glad I went with Gray and Ana, and I love my yard!

We’ve lived in Phoenix for a few years and have used multiple companies for several projects and, in general, have a had a hard time with communication and value for money. I can say that Envirogreen is the company that breaks that mold and more. Gray could not have been more helpful and communicative. The guys working on the project were absolutely professional, clean, on time and just crushed it. We had a front yard plants and hardscape Reno and a full backyard renovation with turf, pavers, and plants. It’s beautiful and we couldn’t be happier. Mostly, I value the relationship and trust that Gray built with us through the process. There isn’t a company we’ve worked with who I’d recommend more highly. Pictures are only of the back and not the best quality but keep in mind that this was all dirt and ruined turf beforehand.

I cannot say enough good things about Envirogreen Landscaping. From the initial meeting, quote, start of work to completion this team was outstanding. Sean was communicative and worked with us along the way with changes to the plan without hesitation. Our project was a big undertaking when it came to squaring away proper drainage for our acre of land, and they handled it like absolute professionals. Crew leader Abraham is courteous, hard working and respected by his team. The entire team was incredible. We knew we were in good hands from day one. My favorite aspect that sets Envirogreen apart from other landscape teams I interviewed was that you are their focus. Your project is worked on dawn to dusk Mon-Fri (we even had a smaller crew on Saturdays). We NEVER were left wondering if anyone was going to show up or not. They start and stay daily until the project is complete. We look forward to working with them again to tackle some things we love for our back yard in the future.

Gray and the team at Envirogreen exceeded our expectations. From design to demolition to re-building we could not be happier with the experience. They were patient in the design phase as we narrowed down our choices. Their craftsman did a great job with the travertine, the pavers, the grill construction, and the ramada installation and everything flows seamlessly. They were accommodating to the mid course corrections that come up and completed the job on-time and on budget. It is amazing how close to the original 3-D renderings it looks like. I was building a new house in Rio Verde, on a 1/3rd acre lot. I needed a competent professional to not only work with me on the concept and design from scratch, but the large scale installation. I made some phone calls, and I was terrified by the incompetence and lack of purpose most landscape companies showed when I was describing what I was looking for. That was a job in the neighborhood of $100k. I luckily found Envirogreen on the internet, and their reviews were stellar. I got on their schedule and met with Grayson in August 2021, and we started working on the concept. After MANY revisions and changes, with no hesitation or delay on their part, we finally dialed it in. Sean also helped put my 3-D design together, which was spectacular. Perfect also for HOA submittal, which Envirogreen helped me with. Let's just say my HOA is not the easiest to deal with, and this design sailed right through. My house was completed in May 2022, and Envirogren was ready to go. Every day, 6 days a week for an entire month, the crew was on-site working their tails off in the summer heat. Crew Leader Abraham was phenomenal, and his crew are some of the hardest working guys I have ever seen. No standing around checking their cell phones here. Owner Grayson was out every other day to review the work with me and ask if I wanted anything done differently. The final product is phenomenal, and I could not be happier with the work that was completed in a timely and competent matter. I also felt their pricing was reasonable, and there was never any whining about supply chain issues or costs going up after the job was quoted. These guys are top-notch and I recommend them highly. In an environment of incompetent landscape contractors, these guys are worth the wait and the cost.

Sean and his team were wonderful to work with, started the project when they had all the materials on hand to finish. They were on the job everyday from start to finish. The crew was clean, polite, hard workers. Really cannot say enough good things about Envirogreen!!!

We did a complete backyard overhaul and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The project was massive — hill excavation/leveling, retaining walls, an outdoor kitchen, drainage, turf and concrete diamond designed patio, sod, curbing, privacy trees and plants, full irrigation and drip lines, and electrical work. It spanned several months and was completed during the Arizona summer, but the team handled it all with the highest priority, professionalism and care. Gray led the project from start to finish, helping design the yard with me, managing communication, and ensuring everything stayed on track. Abraham oversaw the crew on site and made sure the workmanship was top-notch and the designs were followed down to the details. What really stood out was the extra effort they put in — tackling one-off requests without hesitation and continuing to follow up, even years later, to make sure I was still happy with everything. That level of service is rare. Highly recommend this team if you’re looking for high-quality work, thoughtful design, and a crew that truly stands behind what they build.

Positive: Friendly office staff who promptly returns calls. Project designer arrived on time for initial meeting and was pleasant. Negatives: Several week wait for design plan (to be fair, 4th of July did occur during this time period). Some specifics communicated for design plan were not incorporated into the plan. Paid $595 for a static design plan that lacked creativity and was a very basic. Not what I would expect for something most other companies do free of charge. Never received any follow-up after design plan was sent, did not hear from the project designer or anyone in the company ever again. Overall, not a good experience. 2.5 stars (round up to 3).

HIRE THEM AND BE HAPPY!!! Envirogreen recently completed a total transformation of our backyard, and I am absolutely beyond thrilled with the results!!! The entire team at Envirogreeen are amazing. Five years ago they installed our entire front and back yard. The project included travertine patios, fire pit, drip system, lighting and plant installation.Recently they did a yard enhancement project for us. They quote the costs and time lines without any surprises. Both projects were on time and within budget. We love that once they assign a crew to the project, they start and continue until it's done. We really enjoy working with Sean and his team. We would, without reservation, recommend them for your landscape projects.

We were referred to Envirogreen by 2 of our neighbors who had really beautiful backyards. We knew we wanted a ramada and lager grill area and new travertine but were open to the design. Sean came up with a beautiful design and was very easy to work with. We tweaked a few things and soon the work began. The crew arrived early in the morning and worked really hard Monday through Saturday. It was exciting to see the progress everyday and watch our backyard transform from okay to really fabulous! Sean designed the most amazing backyard for us. The crew installed it in 2021 and we have enjoyed it so much including the compliments we always get from our friends and neighbors. Everything has been quality from the hard scape to the turf, it’s all held up well. We had a couple travertine tiles come loose near the drain line and they didn’t hesitate to fix it outside of the warranty period. I highly recommend Envirogreen Landscaping for any landscape remodeling needs. Envirogreen had the hard job of demolishing our entire backyard and building it back up. Their professional teams handled the demo really well, and this included a pool removal, removal of large boulders and a pool deck, and removal of some very large trees that blocked mountain views. They then had to level the lot, install travertine pavers, build a new retaining wall, plant new trees, and lay down turf. They did a thorough and detailed job. The team stayed on track for the project, and Gray Wedel, the project director, was great to work with in terms of being friendly, available, and a good communicator. We were very pleased overall with the whole experience!

I moved into a new build with a “blank slate” for a backyard in April 2016. I was looking for an environmentally conscious company to help design & install the landscaping (including the irrigation lines/timer/valve box). I interviewed 5 companies & ultimately chose Envirogreen for the following reasons: 1) the estimate was competitive compared to the other companies & in fact in terms of everything I was receiving was the most cost efficient 2) the warranty on shrubs/hardware was the best available 3) the owner, Gray. Gray really stood out from the competitors not only because he listened to my ideas/goals regarding design, but he was the only 1 I interviewed who took notes while I was speaking & actually took with him the rough sketch I had put together to put my ideas to paper. I am so happy I chose to work w/Gray. He has been such a pleasure to collaborate with & I am thrilled with the end result. Gray came up with an initial sketch & between the 2 of us, the final outcome was a wonderful combination of both our thoughts. If you’re not interested in having input with your design, Gray will take care of you. If you’re interested in it being more of a collaborative experience, you couldn’t ask for a better person to work with. He was very patient & detailed when addressing my ideas & answering my questions. The installation went smoothly, finished on time, & his crew cleaned up when done leaving my backyard looking ready for a photo shoot! There were a lot of little things in addition to what I’ve already mentioned that makes Gray & Envirogreen great to work with…he contacted Blue Stake for me; I bought solar lights (which didn’t require being hooked up to a box) & they installed those no charge for me; I wanted my cinder block wall painted - there was an additional charge for that, but they took care of it for me where most of the other companies interviewed would not do that; the final walk-through before planting; Gray thinking ahead to bring extra shrub options in case we needed to make any last minute changes; the training he gave me on how to operate my irrigation system. Gray is one of the most easygoing, thoughtful, pleasant people I’ve had the pleasure working with. My landscaping was installed in Sept 2016…the follow-up has been just as exceptional. Gray responds quickly to questions on how I should tweak my watering schedule as well as any other concerns I have. Replacing the 1 shrub I lost which was covered by warranty went smoothly. Gray & Envirogreen is not 1 to forget you as soon as your job is done. I would absolutely recommend Gray & Envirogreen to anyone looking for help with their landscaping.
