❄️ HVAC & Climate in North Scottsdale

I had this company install an air conditioning unit, it was not strapped down properly and caused heavy water damage to my home including breaking through a ceiling. When I brought this to the company's attention they offered to have it repaired. I found out their repairman actually worked in another industry and did repair work on the side, so I went through my insurance to get it professionally done. Now ACA has claimed to my insurance company it is not their fault to escape liability. Absolutely awful behavior and customers should know that if they damage your home they will try to weasel their way out instead of correctly handling it. Edit in response to the owner: No one else accessed the attic, only your workers. Your worker stated it was not strapped down properly and vibrated out of place causing the damage. You did not try to fix this in good faith and your efforts were not misrepresented here.

The office staff is friendly and helpful. Phone calls are returned promptly. The service men, Aiden and Josh diagnosed the problem correctly and resolved it within two days as they got the needed part quickly. It was a pressure switch problem that we had for a couple of years that wasn’t resolved but our former service company. It is a relief to have it fixed so the heat comes on as it should.

Dylan was a pleasure to have come do my ac check up. He was very friendly and got the job done efficiently and left everything tidy. I appreciate him and the company. Thank you

Dylan was very polite and thorough about explaining what items that needed to be addressed during his service call. Listened to our concerns and was very respectful and patient with us. Would definitely want him back to do our next service call.

Larry, Sam, and Joshua were professional, polite, and on-time in replacing two HVAC units. They went above and beyond by helping me change a very high air filter, and swept my flat roof. They wore protective footwear covers in my house. They installed new digital thermostats and ensured I was successful in connecting them to the app. The phone staff was very friendly as well. Highly recommend.

We have been with Larson Air Conditioning for about 8 years now. In 2026, it seems excellent customer service is dying; however, with Larson Air, you can expect professionalism and a neatly groomed tech who takes the time to explain and review maintenance options and the latest technology upgrades without being pushy. Today, Raegan was our technician for an annual check-up. He was incredibly polite, using booties in our home, which felt like white-glove service, and was kind to our dogs, who we’re not put away for this appointment. He was so personable; this experience felt like having a friend who was over to help care for our home. He was knowledgeable, which made us feel confident in his professional assessment. I truly appreciate how much thought Larson's company puts into our experience from their process, to their technician who is entering our home, and follow-up. Raegan is the company's true asset and an excellent representative of the Larson Air Conditioning brand. I look forward to continuing our business with them and will request Raegan for our next service call. Thank you, Larson!

Scottsdale Air installed a new whole home unit for me in March 2022. The salesman was great and the installation went well. The labor on the installation was warranted. This past December, the unit failed for my tenant and lost all refrigerant. Out of caution, I had someone from another company out to diagnose it, the issue was found almost immediately. I then called out Scottsdale Air, their guy didn’t agree with the original diagnosis despite video evidence that was clear as day. Not surprisingly, he wanted $2400 just to diagnose it. Rip apart the whole unit. Weird. I called a 3rd guy, and he found the issue within 5 minutes with no leads. Both 1st and 3rd companies chalked it up to an installation mistake. I had the 3rd company proceed with the repair, for two reasons, my tenant had already missed several hours at work to accommodate and I’d lost confidence in the honesty of Scottsdale Air. They charged ~$900 for the repair and replacing all refrigerant lost. Today, I spoke with a manager, William, to see how I can be remunerated for this under their labor warranty. He talked in circles to essentially say they don’t stand by it. I well understand companies will do anything to save a dime and make a dollar off a customer now, but at that rate, better not to offer a false warranty with a shiny certificate. My rating only remains so high as I had a very agreeable experience with the install back in 2022. That said, might be better to pay a pinch more for an install from a smaller company who is more honest.

Service technicians Hector and James were courteous, professional, and respectful throughout the visit. During their inspection and maintenance, they identified that one of our compressors is approaching end of life and clearly walked me through the available options, which I’m currently considering. They were very thorough with both our A/C units and air handlers, and I truly appreciated the time they took to answer my questions. Scottsdale Air’s maintenance membership has been money well spent, and I’m very happy with the service overall.
