Outdoorscapes Design Group

We recently hired Outdoorscapes Design Group for a complete backyard transformation, and we’re beyond thrilled with how everything turned out. The project included a custom pool design, turf installation, and a small putting green, and the results honestly exceeded our expectations. From day one, our project manager Odin was incredible to work with. He was timely, responsive, efficient, and made it a point to check in with us throughout the entire process—from initial design all the way through final installation. His attention to detail and commitment to making sure we were 100% happy really stood out. The entire crew was just as great—professional, courteous, and punctual. They were also very flexible and accommodating when we wanted to make a few changes and additions during the build. It’s rare to find a team that not only delivers great craftsmanship but also makes the process feel smooth and stress-free. We also felt like the pricing was extremely fair for the quality and scope of the work. As the first house in our community to work with Outdoorscapes, we took a bit of a leap—and we’re so glad we did. Our backyard has truly become an oasis, and we’re already getting tons of compliments from neighbors. We highly recommend Outdoorscapes Design Group to anyone looking to create a beautiful, functional outdoor space. You’ll be in great hands with Odin and his team!

Wow! I chose Outdoorscapes for a pretty big back yard job. Match and extend existing travertine patio, lighting, plantings, irrigation, custom fire pit area and a good size putting green. Open the pictures in a new window to see them better. I was not disappointed in my choice. Fabulous job, on time on budget

Outdoor design group is outstanding! They came into our, not completed, project from another company and not only finished it but improved the design. Odin has the best ideas, and their crew executed them perfectly. This company is top notch, as the different phases of the project were given completion dates they made sure they were finished. We have excitedly increased the projects for our yard three times.

Johnny of Outdoorscapes was my designer. He revised and worked with me on the design until it was within my budget and exactly what I envisioned. They showed up on time every day and completed the work in a timely manner and have even come back to redo some things that needed repair such as a tile the pool guy broke and a light the wind knocked over. I would definitely recommend meeting with them to see how they can give you your dream backyard!

Johnny took my husband and my vision and enhanced it in ways we never imagined. Outdoorscapes Design Group created an oasis for our family that exceeded our expectations. We wanted a botanical environment and got it along with excellent professional construction. Everything is easy to maintain and brings luxury to our outdoor experience. Jeannette

Five stars is not enough to express how happy I am with Outdoorscapes Design. Odin Ortega was an absolute pleasure to work with. After our first meeting, he presented me with an incredible plan for my backyard which took it from an embarrassment to a showplace. Odin was very respectful of my budget and worked with me to keep the project cost manageable without interfering with the aesthetics of the plan. He is very detail orientated and made sure all the i’s were dotted and t’s crossed so that the final project met my expectations. My backyard is now something that I am proud of and looking forward to enjoying for many years to come. I highly recommend Outdoorscapes Design and Odin!

I used Outdoorscapes to redue our backyard. Came out great. From start to finish it was an easy process. They were on time and I was able to get a digital layout before they started demo. I highly recommend outdoorscapes for your next project. 5 stars!

Johnny was great to work with. He listened to what I was looking for, came up with a design, confirmed that the design met my needs, and then scheduled the installers. It as a smooth process and I truly appreciate the attention to detail. The installers did exactly what was asked of them and were very nice. I ended up with an outdoor space that I enjoy!

We had an incredible experience with Outdoorscapes and can’t recommend them enough! From the start, their team stood out during the initial assessment, sharing a creative vision for our backyard that balanced stunning transformation with cost-saving ideas by preserving usable elements of our existing landscape. They followed up with a detailed video rendering of the design, which gave us total confidence—the final result matched it perfectly! Outdoorscapes was transparent with costs, stayed true to their estimates, and their skilled, friendly crew (the same team throughout!) worked professionally and efficiently. They even handled our change orders with ease, adapting quickly to our needs. The outcome is a backyard we absolutely love, and it’s all thanks to their talent and dedication.

My husband & I had an incredible experience working with Outdoorscapes Design! From the start, they were open to our ideas and communicated clearly about what to expect throughout the entire process and where to expect delays. We were particular about avoiding concrete pavers and wanted a more high-end look, and they went above and beyond to help us find the perfect shade of limestone and waterline tile for our pool. What impressed us most was how they managed to stay within our budget while still incorporating all the must-haves in this initial phase of our yard. We’re thrilled with the results and are already looking forward to working with them again to build our outdoor BBQ!

I recently hired Outdoorscapes Design to transform my outdoor space, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. They did an amazing job installing a beautiful pool, adding pavers, and incorporating artificial turf, all of which have truly enhanced my backyard. From start to finish, Outdoorscapes Design was incredibly professional and attentive to detail. They took the time to listen to my ideas and delivered exactly what I envisioned. I appreciated their communication throughout the entire process. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-quality landscaping and pool work!

I had a great experience working with Outdoorscapes Design Group. From the initial consultation from Odin, to receiving the estimate and rendering, everything was handled professionally and efficiently. Odin was responsive, transparent, and clearly knowledgeable about the process. The estimate was detailed and easy to understand, giving me a clear picture of the scope and costs involved. The rendering exceeded my expectations—it brought the concept to life and helped me visualize the final result with confidence. It also made decision-making much easier. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the willingness to answer all my questions along the way. Overall, the service was top-notch, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Outdoorscapes Design Group to anyone looking for quality and reliability.

I would give Outdoorscapes Design 10 stars if possible. We just moved to Arizona and having a pool has always been a dream of mine. Outdoorscapes exceeded our expectations by far. Our backyard oasis, to include pool, pergola, travertine decking, firepit, landscaping and turf was started and finished in 3 months. The entire process from start to finish was smoother than I ever expected and the team was always in contact during our build phase. From the design phase to material selection to permits and beyond, Johnny C. and the Outdoorscapes crew (Johnny and Daniel) were excellent. The work the team does is meticulous, absolutely beautiful and Johnny C. was fantastic at providing a great pool design that worked with our budget and our wish list. We love our pool and backyard oasis so much and are so grateful that we went with Outdoorscapes Design for our project.

Great experience with Outdoorscapes. Very professional and easy to work with, and the design turned out great. Would definitely recommend.

From start to finish they were great! Amazing price, attention to detail! We told Brandon what we wanted and he nailed the design! They all made sure we were happy with everything!

They did a really good job installing my pool/fence/landscape. Odean was awesome he stayed with every step of the way - he explained everything clearly made sure I understood, answered my calls right away, most of all made the process smooth. The crew, was very professional, made sure to clean up at each end of their day. I highly recommend Outdoorscapes Design Group

Johnny and his team just finished my front yard project and I am in love with my upgraded yard! From the initial visit/design we were kept in the loop, all of our questions were answered & the payment schedule was perfect and clear! Our project began earlier than expected which was a huge plus for us and the team was so professional and respectful of our property and our neighbors. They were catching small imperfections on their breaks and fixing them where I have seen other companies slack and purposely overlook such details!! My yard was done so quickly and I am thrilled with how seamless the process went from design to execution. I definitely recommend Outdoorscapes Designs if you’re really wanting your space to be upgraded.

Recommended by a friend. I had travertine put down over existing pool deck and patio with extension. I was extremely pleased with the quality of the work, but also the pace of completion and flexibility, and the price was very good compared to many quotes that I feel would have been of inferior quality as well based on the attention to detail that was provided by outdoorscapes. Odean went out of his way to ensure my understanding and satisfaction. Highly recommend!!!

Outdoorscrapes did an amazing job on my backyard I went from having a dirt view to a beautiful view. The job got done in a timely manner, and the workers were very professional. I will definitely recommend to anyone I know.

We contacted them to see if they did free estimates which they replied they do. They sent Odean out to look at the yard. Didn’t really want to listen to what we wanted. Finally spoke with Odean and asked him to send over a proposal and potential quote, refused to send anything unless he could come back to the house to present it. We had two other quotes which both without asking emailed design and quote with no issues. Seems like high pressure sales tactic. Don’t offer quotes unless you are willing to present what you have for us to compare. We chose another company. This withholding made it very clear that it would more than likely be a nightmare process to build with them. Still have all the texts/messages of these conversations.

We had Johnny Cabrales come out and originally give us a quote to install a pool as well as redo our backyard landscaping. From the start he was professional and detail oriented. He was the only one that evaluated our current conditions and talked us through options for what he could do and what that would look like. We ended up not doing the pool and just did the landscaping redo. His team was great and we love our new backyard!

Thank you for making the construction of our pool and patio a fun experience and completing in a record time. The pool and patio design is absolutely gorgeous, my family and I truly enjoy it. We spend more time together on our patio than ever before. Special thanks to Johnny Cabrales and Johnny Garcia for their professionalism and attention to detail at every step of the construction

Great landscape design!! Love all the plants and addition of pavers!!

The project manager, Johnny, had great ideas when we were discussing the project, provided a reasonable quote in a timely manner, scheduled start of the project right away, and was very tolerant of small changes as the project unfolded. The crew did a great job and kept the work area tidy. The brickwork looks really beautiful. All the odd cuts are spot on and the grade is perfect. Really great work.

Johnny was professional and great to work with. I love the design he did for us and his attention to detail.
