Stephanie Larsen Interior Design

Stephanie Larsen and her team are a rare combination of artistry, attention to detail, responsiveness/professionalism and excellent customer service. We worked with Stephanie and her team on a large remodel of our home including flooring throughout our house, updated lighting throughout, and a complete remodel/redesign of 4 bathrooms, the primary walk-in closet, and a basement kitchenette. We also replaced the furniture in the front entry, living room, dining room, primary bedroom and guest bedroom. The design phase of the project began in early 2025. The majority of construction occurred over the summer, of 2025 finishing with new furniture delivery in fall 2025. Stephanie was a great partner in the design phase, taking our personalities into account, working through several design iterations to make sure we were completely happy, and reusing some of our existing pieces (lighting, bathroom sink, etc) in the remodel. She was always available and responded quickly to comments and questions. Stephanie recommended using her husband Paul Aguirre and his company QC Quality Construction as general contractor overseeing the renovations. The quality of the construction workmanship of Paul’s company and in supervising the various subcontractors was outstanding. He did a great job of phasing them (electricians, plumbers, drywallers, painters, etc) to minimize down-time and keep everything moving forward as quickly as possible. We had good communication throughout the project with both Paul and Stephanie. They worked really hard to minimize delays and disruptions that are inevitable in a large project like this. Prior to the remodel, our house had a beautiful Tuscan theme that was not consistent with our personalities. I very much appreciate Stephanie’s design efforts to update our house, focusing on natural fibers and woods, as well as her belief in promoting health and wellness throughout the house. In addition to the furnishings, Stephanie recommended accessories that resonate with us. Post-remodel, we have a home that promotes relaxation and connects with us at the soul level. We love, love, love the updated house. I cannot list my favorite thing, as everything is beautiful, serene and comfortable. Stephanie exceeded all expectations, and we are thrilled beyond words. My friends have commented that we finally have a home that seems like us.

If you're the kind of person who wants only the best, then the more you explore working with Stephanie the more obvious it will become that she is your absolute best choice. In 2019 Stephanie designed my first Sedona home, see the attached images...a picture is worth a 1000 words. In 2021 I bought a new, yet to be built home. I used a designer other than Stephanie, for no reason related to Stephanie. This other "recognized and award winning" designer delivered work *NO WHERE* close to the quality of Stephanie's work and I didn't get the "dream home" I paid for. I had to re engage Stephanie to clean up the contractor's and other designers mess and failings. Stephanie is a consummate professional: She'll exceed your expectations in project over sight/management, fighting for the exact final outcome you want (If your contractor/subcontractors fall short), sourced materials (cabinetry, flooring, furniture, rugs, lighting, etc) and she'll deliver excellence in the final product. On a personal note, I'm not someone who "needs the best," but quality is paramount to me. If you want one of the best designers available anywhere and quality matters, then hire Stephanie, you'll be glad that you did. She's wonderful to work with. And, she's a nice person with a good heart. If you have any questions, google my name, Jim Fortin, you'll find me online. Reach out and I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have about her skills, service or commitment to excellence! Work with Stephanie and get ready for the home of your dreams. Thanks, Jim Fortin

Stephanie was great to work with! She has such a great way of tying everything together and has the ability to create such an inviting home environment! She does a great job of inserting her design aesthetic but still involving her clients and their tastes and preferences. Stephanie helped us with a whole house project and we love how everything came out and are thoroughly enjoying all of the spaces for us and for sharing with friends and family!

We are extremely pleased with our home renovation and the vision Stephanie Larsen provided. We trusted Stephanie to bring our preferences and styles into a warm, restful, visually stunning design and she delivered. After the renovation was completed and we moved back in, we continued to discover the benefits of meticulous details we didn’t quite capture in her design concept. We highly recommend Stephanie to prospective homeowners considering any renovation work. We also highly recommend working with Quality Construction led by Paul Aguirre as he is the most trusted and sincere contractor we have ever worked with. His team is comprised of artisan fabricators that put quality above all else and the final product displays that attention to detail. The beauty of working with Stephanie and Paul together is the entire process was stress-free as the two seamlessly coordinated every aspect. Both were excellent communicators, detailed oriented, responsive to inquiries, and most importantly, there were no surprises with the budget and direction of the project. Thank you once again Stephanie and Paul for the amazing vision that expertly transformed into our home of today.

Stephanie did an absolutely phenomenal job designing our dream home and bringing our vision to life! She is super easy to work with and we so grateful that we chose to work with her and her team! She is the BEST!

I’ve been working with Stephanie for over 10 years. Projects large and small. We recently did a major renovation of our home including the kitchen, master bathroom and revisions to our outdoor living spaces. The transformation is incredible. It was the largest and scariest undertaking we’ve attempted in all our years of home ownership. So many decisions to make and so much money at stake, one could become paralyzed by the enormity of it all. That’s why we chose Stephanie. Her taste is exquisite and we knew that going in and I trusted her completely. However, it was her steady hand, her attention to detail, her guidance and patience that gave us the confidence we needed along the way. It’s not just the outcome that’s important. It’s also the journey. Would I do it again? With no hesitation whatsoever. Thank you Stephanie!

Stephanie Larsen has helped me to magically make my home both functional and beautiful. I enjoyed working with Stephanie. She listened to my needs and interests so to reflect that in her designs. My home now feels both updated and timeless. Thank you Stephanie!

I have worked with Stephanie for two very different protects and have been thrilled with my results. We are doing a refresh even now and it makes me so happy to love my home and space. She is professional to the end and the results are better than imagined.

We had the BEST experience working with Stephanie and her team! She designed our dream home and made sure everything was absolutely perfect for us! The level of talent, care and attention to detail she has is unmatched! We love our home!!!

We just completed a comprehensive, 8-month remodel of the kitchen, living room, dining room, and office of our home in Sedona, with Stephanie Larsen in charge of design. The job also included new flooring, window coverings, and interior paint throughout most of the house. Stephanie carefully listened to our preferences from the start and kept track of details. She was enthusiastic, supportive, and flexible throughout the job. She kept us in the loop during the design process and met with us in Scottsdale for several showroom visits to see and approve choices for appliances, furniture, flooring, lighting, countertop stone, and art. She worked very well with our general contractor, Jason Smithson (BP2 Custom Homes), and frequently made herself available on short notice when choices had to be made during the project. We were most impressed with Stephanie's artistic eye and ability to come up with a beautiful design that looks even better now in person than in her 3-D renderings. It was clear that her interior design experience and skill were exceptional. Her close connections with the high-quality suppliers helped ensure that the ordering and delivery process went smoothly. We highly recommend Stephanie Larsen Interior Design if you want to do a remodel that will turn out stunningly beautiful.

My spouse and I at the time put our house up for sale in Sedona. It’s had a offerwithin two weeks and I believe to this day the way our house was designed by Stephanie Larsen. Was the key to selling it. All I ever heard is when people came into the house they said wow Thank you Stephanie.

Stephanie was wonderful to work with.Followed up on every detail. After the project was finished (remodel)she just did not walk away.If I had questions or if a minor issue came up there she was.She is an excellent source for taking care of things afterwards. Will use her again without hesitation.

Stephanie is a fantastic interior designer. I highly recommend her and I truly enjoy working with her.
